You can call me beauty fool,
for whenever I see a lovely face,
my mind sets sails to my disgrace,
it hastens off, to a distant shore,
where I´m not lonely anymore,
where four feet wander side by side,
where kisses flow and hearts unite.
And there this troubled soul of mine,
gets nourished by the lovers shine,
and I can see a new tomorrow,
not restrained by pain and sorrow,
that stone inside my hurting chest,
dissolves until there´s nothing left.
Reality is not so kind,
and the illusions of my mind,
are nothing but a fragile shield,
I desperately try to wield,
and there I stand inside the mass,
watching thousand faces pass,
but not one stops or gifts a smile,
so I feel cold after a while.
